North America professionsThe work force in North America is made up of a wide variety of working professionals. Most of the workforce in North America is found within the United States, Canada and Mexico. Each country boasts particular strengths and weaknesses in its professional arenas. The United States is the wealthiest nation in North America, as well as in the entire world. The U.S. operates under an economical system of capitalism, meaning that almost every industry is privatized and competitive. Professional positions such as CEOs, physicians and attorneys are found in abundance within the United States. Canada is being recognized in recent years for its entrepreneurial spirit and for the strength of its sciences. A multitude of entrepreneurial start up businesses are emerging from Canada, as well as a great many environmental and cosmological scientists. Mexico is a developing nation so its professional resources are somewhat weaker than its neighbors to the north, however, there are a great many thriving industries spread throughout Mexico, including food, tourism and a number of industrial lines of business that employ millions. North America’s professional job market is vast and diverse, and many people across the globe are striving to be connected to it. For more information on trending job market topics in North America, visit the links below:

The United States and Canada are very similar countries, but even though Mexico contains a different ethnicity and culture , it has many strong ties with its neighbors to the north. Technology

    Uncategorized No Comments

North America technologyNorth America is a region of the world that boasts an abundance of technology. This is likely because the United States is the richest country in the world and Canada is one of the more wealthy nations in the world. The United States and Canada also produce a great deal of technology, but primarily they are consumers of technology. Personal technology devices, such as desktop computers, laptops, cell phones, televisions and stereos are all owned by the average resident of the United States and Canada, as well as other common household appliances. The average adult also owns a car, although the ethics on this are changing. Many people are looking to car sharing to reduce road congestion and carbon emissions. Industrial technology is very prevalent in the United States and Canada as well. Factory equipment and mechanical assembly lines can be found in every major factory, as well as over-sized construction equipment and special purpose industrial machines. Mexico and many of the Caribbean nations are developing nations, so they do not have as wide a selection in technology as the United States and Canada do. Their economies are burgeoning, however, and an influx of technology is expected to emerge in the years to come. Religion

    Uncategorized No Comments

North America religionIn North America, religion is a very diverse cultural facet. The United States and Canada are two North American countries that have very high immigration rates, which means that all major world religions are represented between their populations. The United States and Canada are virtual melting pots of world cultures, and Christianity, Muslim, Hinduism, Judaism and Buddhism are all found within their borders, as well as many others. Even in Mexico, Greenland and a number of Caribbean nations, interfaith culture is spread widely. This has created an interesting and unique religious climate within North America unlike any the world has ever known. A great deal of tolerance for the religions of others must be exercised in order to maintain civility, however, this does not always work out. Religious hate crimes occur in North America over culture clashes. Christianity is the dominant religion of North America with non-denominational Christianity found in abundance in the United States and Canada, and Catholicism found in abundance in Mexico. Approximately 30-percent of North Americans identify themselves as Christian or believing in a theological God. For more information on trending religious topics in North America, visit the links below:

    Mental Health

    Uncategorized No Comments

North America mental healthMental health in North America has been a significant recent conversation, particularly as it relates to the United States, Canada and Mexico. All North American countries are unique when it comes to their mental health profile. The United States is recently being analyzed for its gun violence and for how mental health contributes to the problem. There are many top level psychologists and mental health experts in the United States striving to understand how to help the overcrowded U.S. population manage its mental health issues. In Canada, there is a similar cultural climate as that of the United States, but with considerably less gun violence, the mental health focus in Canada is on addiction and mental disorders. These conditions are prominent in Canada in part because of the lack of sunlight for much of the year. In Mexico, the mental health focus is less analyzed because it is overshadowed by a dangerous level of corruption in government and law enforcement, which increases the violent crime level. However, like in any country, people are exposed to trauma, adverse situations and a number of other negative environmental factors that enhance mental problems in Mexico. North America has a long way to go before good mental health is restored to its residents. For more information on trending mental health topics in North America, visit the links below:
